Our Country Made the Break-through On the Key Technology of Polypropylene Material

Recently, the Changchun Applied Chemistry Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences makes a progress in the key technology of special-purpose material (BOPP) research of polypropylene, which has solve the big problem of “broken membrane " and has lessen the reliance of importing BOPP membrane.

Scientific researchers have worked out the isotactic polypropylene and high-speed chain structure while bidirectional drawing steadily with high speed. And they have made a great progress on the existence of macromolecule weight component, the control on degree of latitude distributing, the degree of latitude on low molecular weight component and the degree of latitude on macromolecule weight component etc.

After adopt the technique, the production speed of BOPP in domestic enterprises have improved from 170-180 meters /minute to 380 meters/ minute, which have exceeded foreign average level.
